Discover How To Get A Hospitality Keynote Speaker

Jason Lee October 09, 2018 Hospitality Keynote Speaker Comments are off

When it comes to getting a keynote speaker for your next hospitality event you should try finding someone who can really grab the audience and keep their attention. We have all been to those events where the speaker failed to get our attention and it left an unsavory memory of that particular event. On the other hand, many of us have experienced an event where the speaker was incredible and we hold that memory fondly. Here we will take a look at how to get a hospitality keynote speaker that will make great memories of the event.

Finding A Hospitality Keynote Speaker That Inspires

The big key to a great event is by getting a speaker who inspires the audience. This starts by getting someone who really knows the business and the people that he’s addressing. The audience is giving their time and they want something that is equally valuable in return. This means that the speaker needs to understand exactly what tools and information that they want.

The speaker then needs to be able to deliver those tools and information in an informative way that is engaging and inspiring. A good speaker knows how to combine an informative presentation together with a performance that inspires the listening audience. He should understand what is necessary to perform team building and he will need to know about goal setting.

A good speaker should command respect not just by expectation but by the delivery of his performance and the obviousness of his knowledge and ability. When people can see that, they will listen up and pay attention and when they become engaged with the speaker then they will have a memorable event that they find valuable. As a coordinator, this is the kind of speaker that you want to have at your next event.

When The Audience Laughs They Are Enjoying Themselves

It’s important to remember that those attending the event want to enjoy themselves as much as they may want to be informed about something. When the hospitality keynote speaker is able to deliver a highly informative presentation while entertaining and making the audience laugh, then it will be one that the audience greatly enjoys. All of us like to laugh and if we can learn something while laughing then it’s even better.

Make It Personal

When finding a keynote speaker for your event, make it personal. Very often the audience is much like yourself. If you find a keynote speaker that you like then it is more likely the audience will like them as well. This is why coordinating and finding a good speaker for the next event should be personalized. If you can imagine what it is that you would want if you were sitting in the audience’s seat then you are far more likely to get the right speaker and this will leave a great impression on the audience.

We have all endured a poorly delivered presentation and many of us have also had the joy of experiencing one that was great. If you are coordinating the next event then make the extra effort to find a keynote speaker that is capable of understanding and engaging the audience in an entertaining and yet informative way. Once you have, then the listening audience will trust you to do it again in the future and they will be able to expect a great event.
